Torpedo Gorky is a professional ice hockey team based in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. The team was founded in 1947 and has a rich history of success in the Russian ice hockey league. Torpedo Gorky has won the Russian championship twice, in 1974 and 1976, and has also won the European Cup twice, in 1974 and 1976.
