The Moldova women's national football team (Romanian: Echipa națională de fotbal feminin a Moldovei) represents Moldova in association football and is controlled by the Moldovan Football Federation, the governing body for football in Moldova. They have never qualified for the FIFA Women's World Cup or the UEFA Women's Championship. Nicolae Bunea has been the manager of the national team since 10 July 2023. The current captain of the national team is midfielder Claudia Chiper. Currently ranked 114th by FIFA, the team plays their home games in many different venues all around the country, including Chișinău, Orhei and Tiraspol.

History

Moldova first official match, a 0–4 defeat to Republic of Ireland, took place on 12 September 2001.

The team is made up of players from various clubs and regions throughout Moldova, who come together to compete against other national teams in tournaments and friendly matches. Despite facing challenges and obstacles, the Moldova Women's soccer team continues to strive for excellence and inspire young girls and women to pursue their passion for the sport.
