The Wartburg Knights are a Division III American football team representing Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. The team was founded in 1922 and has since become a respected program in the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC). The Knights play their home games at Walston-Hoover Stadium, which has a seating capacity of 4,000.

The team is known for its strong defense and physical play, which has led to numerous conference championships and playoff appearances. The Knights have also produced several All-Americans and NFL players, including former New York Giants linebacker Scott Shanle.

The head coach of the Wartburg Knights is Rick Willis, who has been with the program since 1996 and has led the team to multiple conference titles and playoff appearances. The team's mascot is a knight in shining armor, and the school colors are orange and black.
