The Kansas basketball team, also known as the Jayhawks, is a highly competitive and successful team in the NCAA Division I. The team is based in Lawrence, Kansas and has a rich history of success, having won five national championships and numerous conference titles. The team is known for its fast-paced, high-scoring style of play, and has produced many talented players who have gone on to successful careers in the NBA. The current roster is led by head coach Bill Self, who has been with the team since 2003 and has led them to numerous conference championships and Final Four appearances. The team's home court is the Allen Fieldhouse, which is known for its raucous atmosphere and is considered one of the toughest places to play in college basketball.
