The Rensselaer Engineers ice hockey team is a collegiate team representing Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. The team competes in the NCAA Division I level and is a member of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Hockey conference. The team has a rich history, dating back to 1901, and has won two national championships in 1954 and 1985. The team plays their home games at the Houston Field House, which has a seating capacity of 4,780.
